how many versions of this exist?
1) the album version
2) on the single, Temple Bar edit
3) on the single, Temple Bar remix

is the music video version a 4th version, or is this the same as the Temple Bar Edit on the single?

also, in interviews the band (bono, and Larry) has comments on how much the song 'could' have been, and how they were close to cracking it, but didn't quite get there. bono has mentained that they re-worked the song (for the single) and that version is better. Do others agree with me, and disagree with bono, and say that the album version is the supeior version?

Is the single version the more acoustic one? If so I also like the album version better, only marginally though.

OT: Wrong forum and wrong song, but anyone like The Sundays' cover of The Rolling Stones' Wild Horses?

album version = superiror.
single version = a pure sign of someone breaking the rule 'if it ain't broke, don't fix it'

Unfinished versions on the Salome AB working tapes as well.

(Working title - Morning Child / Don't Turn Around)

 What's the difference between Temple bar edit and remix?

Album version is better.

I like the Temple Bar Mix a lot more

The Temple Bar Mix last few lines ----\/

Oh, the deeper I spin
Oh, the hunter will sin for your ivory skin
Took a drive in the dirty rain
To a place where the wind calls your name
Under the trees the river laughing at you and me
Hallelujah, heavens wide rows
The doors you open
I just can't close

Don't turn around
Don't you turn around again
Don't turn around
You gypsy heart
Don't turn around
Don't turn around again
Don't turn around
And don't look back
Come on now love
Don't you look back

Who's gonna ride your wild horses?
Who's gonna drown in your blue sea?
Who's gonna taste your salt water kisses?
Who's gonna take the place of me?

Who's gonna ride your wild horses?
Who could tame the heart of thee?

I think U2's next single should be the live version they are playing of this on Vertigo.

I like the album version better, but the temple bar version is cool.

"Temple Bar Mix" is truly a standout........the album version is just another album track........
