I don't mind if you like it or not because that is totally subjective but don't make a review out of first impressions. Germany: zero point.

Ok, the next time when we have the chance to listen to an album first, we don't say a word then.
We just browse around the forum then and drop in several times "haha, we've heard it, you NOT!"
You're a jerk - they try to give an impression from fans to fans. They do us/you a favour when they tell u how they like it - like everybody did in this forum with the most bad snippets you could get in the world!
Haha, sorry i have to laugh at you. Maybe just jealous?

No, I'm not the jealous type. Giving an impression is something different than those elaborate reviews after one listen but if you enjoyed them good for you. I especially liked the 3 out of 10 remark. Who said the germans have no sense of humor.

maybe you should wait jst further 20 days, listen to the album 10 times and then let us know what you think about it. But then noone is interested in it anymore, you know?

I wouldn't put too much weight into the 3/10 review. The reviewer basically expected the album to not be very good (he said so himself) and thus created that reality for himself - a self fulfilling prophecy of alarmng proportions. To go all out and say U2 should disband after listening to an album one time is ridiculously presumptious. And to say the album isn't catchy and nor does it reveal its song structures is redundant in the extreme. What he fails to realize is that songs that aren't catchy don't reveal their structures. Because that's basically the definition of a "catchy" song - "structure revealing". There are too many glaring holes in his summary to take seriously. Thank God this album isn't full of immediate, catchy songs. We have ATYCLB for that anyway.

I really have to thanx these german guys and i really guess they try to make the fairest and most honest reviews and give all their first impressions to us under all the circumstances.Only Phaser looks too self indulgent (Phaser stars?!) and hypertechnicist,it seems he has a personal affair against Bono and looks as a review without any soul and heart.The other guys seems to me very
well balanced,fans pretending the most from a band that they love very much.
Just my personal impression:
1) All they like very much Vertigo....if you notice,the only song they have listened to many times and well digested.
2)Undoubtely A man and a woman is actually the weakest (8 neagtive comments are not just a case...)...so don't expect too much from this...
3)All the other songs fluctuate from 6 to 8 (with the exception of LPOE that is the best basing on their comments)...this is positive, all these can be potential growers, considering that they have listened to these once.
So relax and wait a response from your own ears that are the best reviewers for your heart,soul and mind.
