I have connections with so many U2 songs...it's tough to say, but...

'North and South of the River' really hits home for me. But not as a political song... more like a love song. It's like a tale of unrequited love from both sides.

Maybe that's the political theme of it after all, a sort of unrequited love, paradoxically from both sides (like they're just missing each other), between Northern and Southern Ireland.
