It would have been pretty cool to see COBL on Pop. That would have really thrown the Pop album for a loop.

Musically, yes, it's from POP. But lyrically it's inspired by the post 9-11 shows at MSG in NYC.

To me the hello hello part is as close as it gets to Boy. Style wise, yes, it is obvious this band is 25 years older. Maybe the energy is another thing that gets it compared to Boy. I just don't see it being a track on Boy though.
