I wanted to say Boy or War...

Bono said that the song could have been written in the 80s...

Boy era U2, and the end with this part

"I can feel your love teaching me how
Your love is teaching me how, how to kneel…" reminds me of Gloria. Also a touch of UF era U2 on "all of this can be yours" and "I can't stand the beats..." verse, guitar-wise.

Welcome back theu2fly!
I suppose it reminded me of the Boy era but with a bit of War thrown in. SOmething about it reminds me of Desire, a very "immediate" sounding single.

Oh which era!, I'll learn to look and read properly one day!

It Reminded me of the Vertigo Tour era. It could have been written in the 80's...but it wasn't
