I was born July 6th 1968 so the lads were still in school.

My guess is that U2 were no doubt watching coverage of the assassination attempt on President Reagan.

Later that night they played a gig in Lubbock, Texas...wherever the hell that is.

Just 5 days before they played the Top Hat Ballroom in Dublin. Not sure what they were doing on my actual birthday, but it was a pretty good day overall for me!
