What were the most famous artists as a support act in a U2 concert?

The friendliest place on the web for anyone that follows U2.
If you have answers, please help by responding to the unanswered posts.
And that, Bonochick, is why I enforce my self-imposed rule keeping my parents at least 20 miles away from any member of U2.

Dad: "U2 better be good, Kate...I'd hate to think I spent all of this money on tickets to watch this crap all night!"

Me: "Dad...don't worry..."

Mom: *eyes widen as she watches the FLC frontman* "Did he just say 'fuckers'?!"

Me: "Umm...I think so..."

Mom: "That's not very nice..."

Sister: "I told you this concert would suck..."

Me: "Bite me!!! Don't you dare ruin my first U2 concert for me!"

Sister: "Shut up!!! This band sucks almost as bad as U2! And Bono's gay!"

Dad: "That's enough, Julie..."

Sister: *slumps down in chair* "I could be home with my friends tonight...but no...I have to watch stupid, gay U2..."

Me: "Shut up! The music you like is crap!"

Sister: "At least they're not gay like Bono."

Dad: "That's enough, Julie..."

Sister: "Oh...yell at me but don't yell at her..."

Dad: "Both of you stop it!"

Mom: *eyes still wide* "He keeps saying the 'F' word!"

*lol* I love my family...

Sounds like a script straight out of "The Wonder Years" series.

What would ya do if I sang out of tune.....

Hahaha. I had the misfortune of seeing that. 3rd Eye Blind is definately not a band that translates well to the stadium. I dont like them anyway though.

*lol*

My family has gotten a lot better over the years...I became a fan in '95 at age 13, which meant the first "new album" experience I had (and put them through) was Pop...the thing was that none of them were that crazy about Pop, though my sister now admits she likes SATS. However, all 3 of them love ATYCLB.

"Baby...can we still be friends?"

How about Graham Parker and the Figs?

Did anyone else see them? Wow...they were, like, unforgettable. It was...something else...not quite sure how to express my reaction to their performance....
