What u2 related Cds have you bought
Just wondering if you lot buy Cds by other artists just because of some or all of u2 guesting on it? Perhaps Daniel Lanois or Robbie Robertson or A N Other?

Some time ago I bought Gavin Friday's Shag Tobacco on which Bono and Edge are doing some backing vocals. It's a great record, very hard to find these days, but I highly recommend you to get it! You can hear some U2 90's stuff influence, the highlights are definitely Caruso, Little Black Dress, The Slider, You, Me & World War III and The Last Song I'll Ever Sing (this is the one Bono regrets he didn't write himself!)

I found a used copy of that Gavin Friday record and picked that up. It's interesting.
I have two Daniel Lanois CDs, primarily bought because of the U2 connection, but I really, really like them a whole damn lot. I also like the work he's done with Emmylou Harris. |
