Great choices-some tunes I am interested in hearing.

Wow, DOL, that is an interesting choice-

 Beatles stuff, Peter Gabriel and REM.

I love the Killers- Read My Mind.

"Transmission" by Joy Division

It's a great song with cool individual parts that would highlight the stregnth of each member. I'd love to hear Adam lay waste to the opening bass riff, Edge attack the snarling guitar lines, Larry going back to a beat that takes him all around the kit like the 80's and Bono yelling the "Dance! Dance! Dance! Dance! Dance to the radio!" part at the end.

It would kick unholy ass. Just sayin. If you haven't heard the song in a while or if you've never heard it at all, seriously give it a try.

by far the best suggestion so far.

Alternative Ulster by SLF would be fantastic as well.

I'll throw in another vote for Never Tear Us Apart. For some reason, I have trouble imagining what U2 would do with other artists' songs musically, so I tend to narrow it down to "songs I'd like to hear Bono sing." I think any Bob Marley would sound fantastic.

Or Jeff Buckley's "Lover, You Should've Come Over."

Allanah - yeah, I know what you mean! and LuvandPeace

Heard Roxy Music yesterday-More Than This....would love to hear some of that.

Björk & Thom Yorke -I've seen it all.
I'd like Bono to do a version of that song together with Björk. Or some other song together with her.
