I think a great intro for the CD would be Irving Plaza version of BD. Include the announcer's intro.
Elevation - Tomb Raider Mix all the way!!!
For Wire, use demo version - even rockier than the final studio. Or, if you don't have it, use the dub mix.
Mofo - use a remix. I think it's the Matthew Roberts mix, which has the whole song, but a few extras thrown in. Similar backing to the Rock'n'roll doggie version, but with all the lyrics and melody of the original song.
Use DC Zoo TV for your live versions when required. It totally rocks, and sounds great!
If you can, also get a hold of "Womanfish" - Bono sounds like Elvis baby! yeah.
Oh, and one more thing - the Achtung Beibi version of Acrobat kicks major ass!

I made a CD called kick ass U2 songs..lol! I forgot what was on it though. I think NYD live is soo kick ass. Elevation always gets me excited. Desire and AATWT are kick ass. A celebration kicks ass also hehe I should look for my kick ass CD

Without a doubt or hesitation: Mysterious Ways LIVE version
(specifically the version from Elevation Tour, Montreal, Molson Centre - yeah I know that's awfully nit-picky)
