So many great tracks did not make the Best Of 1980-1990 and 1990-2000. Ditto for the B-sides. So if U2 were to release a third installment, why not release a Best Of that didn't quite make the Best Ofs? Here would be my songs:

11 O Clock Tick Tock
Out Of Control
A Celebration
Gloria
Two Hearts Beat As One
40
A Sort Of Homecoming
Red Hill Mining Town
The Fly
Who's Gonna Ride Your Wild Horses
Lemon
If God Will Send His Angels
Last Night On Earth
Please
The Ground Beneath Her Feet
Elevation
Walk On

With the exception of 40 (which was a concert staple) and Red Hill Mining Town (which was so close to being a single and a video having been shot for it), all the songs listed were released as singles or have gotten radio play or have had videos made for them.

Now here would be my B-sides:

Things To Make And Do
J. Swallow
Boomerang
Can't Help Falling In Love
Alex Descends To Hell
Where Did It All Go Wrong?
Fortunate Son
Paint It Black
Satellite Of Love
Holy Joe
Two Shots Of Happy, One Shot Of Sad
Always
Electrical Storm (BBC Demo Version)

And then I'd throw in a bonus CD with live versions that appeared as B-sides in their different singles.

I think my proposed third compilation would make a good addition for the completists and hardcore fans although it won't sell too well. So I'm just dreaming at what can be released but U2, but then if I dream I dream out loud in high volume.

Cheers,

J
