American crowds are generally dull if dvd's and concert reviews are anything to go by.
The latin American audience know where the party is at.

It's hard to judge a crowd based on a DVD, especially one as chopped up as Hamish Hamilton's hack job.

The worst crowd of all the Vertigo shows I saw was in Monterrey, Mexico. Completely dull and quiet, it was embarrassing.

The best crowd was in Mexico City, three days later. Louder than bombs, singing every word, it was awesome.

Mmm, Boston or Montreal in US/Canada. Mexico City of course. Anywhere in South America, and Dublin in Europe.

I don't think any one city would have this title, but a shortlist may be:

Dublin, Rotterdam, Milan, New York, Boston, Mexico City

Here in the States, I'd say Boston, based on my own concert-going experiences. NYC and Chicago would round out the Top 3. Cannot speak for anything internationally. :(

yeah US crowds are very boring and dull. Europe and south america now how to get a concert rocking.
