Jus out of curiosity: were they the first ones to use this visual: beLIEve or believe

I've found this: ht tp://www. chrysler.c om/film/home_flash.html (look under the movie title, after the intro), but this obviously more recent than ZooTV.

What's wrong with http://www.chrysler.com/film/home_flash.html
(i.e. the full link)?

Along with "beLIEve," they should have gone with the "'if' is the middle word in 'life'" thing. I guess Dennis Hopper already did that though.

The only links that really aren't allowed are download links to commercial audio/video material.

Disturbed has an album called BELIEVE and I've always wondered if they copied the title from U2...you wouldn't think so, Disturbed being some nü-metal band, but you never know, U2's influence is in more places than you might think.
