Wave of sorrow question?

Anyone else think that the very end of the song where its just Bono's voice multi-tracked sounds like the oompa-loompa song?:huh:
 
You've probably just ruined the song for me, lol. :)
 
Its a good song though, I do like it, even if the rest of the bands parts are a bit annoymous.

Songs like this and IGWSHA always remind me of something you'd hear on a Bono solo album, where the vocal is a little too dominant.

I like the a capella part of the song though I'm not so fond of the vocals in the end, but I LOVE the rest of the song ... I just think the end could have been done differently, better.

And I don't think that it's not a U2 song because the voice is too "dominant". In fact, I would love for the band to record more stuff with more room around the voice, as Bono once put it, stuff that is more focused on lyrics, voice and singing. That's why I like the accoustic stuff they've done.
