Was anyone here at the October 31, 1997 Detroit POPMART Show?

Caroline who is doing the follow up to PIMM'S book U2 a concert documentary had this question about the POPMART Detroit Show:



"Was anyone on the list at Popmart Detroit? (October 31, 1997) One review I've read says Ann was there to greet Larry with a birthday kiss as the cake is delivered to the B-stage. Can someone confirm this?"

God...I don't remember really. I don't think this happened, though.

However, I don't trust my memory here.

i wasn't there, but i remember that night. i vaguely remember someone who'd been there saying that she was there onstage.

I was there, and so was Ann! She came onstage (actually the catwalk) with a birthday cake for Larry!

Hey, where were you on that night? I was at the end of the catwalk, right up against it.

Yes I was there, it was right in front of me when Ann handed him the cake. Larry laughed and feined that he was going to throw the cake in her face.
