what version is everyones favorite version of walk on. while doing this compilation of 6 cds, i am having trouble deciding which one to use. i am also thinking of using 2 versions.

1. album verison

2. single version - guitar intro isnt the same as the album, but has hallelujah at the end

3. hallelujah version - has album guitar intro but doesnt have the short guitar solo after bono says you can only take so much.

which 1 or 2 should i use?

thanx

The original version. I was appalled when I heard the single version omitted the "Love is not the easy thing/The only baggage you can bring/Is all that you can't leave behind" lines.

I also love the "Love is not the easy thing" intro, but the hallelujah's get me every time.

Nigel Goodrich's version is real tight and good. Piano intro and Hallelujah are what make this version, but for me, I need the "home" lines that come after the solo. my vote would be #1.
