there is a website conducting a NCAA tournament like bracket with bands pairing off with each other...and we vote for the winners. Its started off with 512 bands and is now done to 16. U2 is in the sweet sixteen pairing off against johnny cash, and they are down 200 votes or so. not sure how much time is left.

also, its clear that fans have flocked to this site and voted for their favorites, thus certain unrealistic winners have emerged, i.e. Depeche Mode beating Led Zepplin. I like Depeche Mode and all, but realistically, i dont think they're the better band. Anyways, here's the website, vote as much as you like!

I didn't have the heart to vote.

Johnny raised me as a child and nursed some wounds in my late 20's, but U2 pretty much saw me through adolescence, school, girlfriends, breakups, and everything in between.
