My thinking is that this latest set of album wil lbe exactly what Bono said he wanted to hear on the radio and what wasn't really being played in the mainstream - Ecstatic Songs. Beautiful Day, Vertigo, Elevation, Miracle Drug, All Because Of You, Yahweh, Walk On, Sometimes..., StuckIn A Moment, One Step Closer, Fast Cars, etc. These songs have an ecstatic nature to them (even if they are slow songs, there's an uplifting quality that lies in there)

That may be what's going on...

More negativity for the 00 era.

Get used to it, you'll see a lot of people with double standards and selective memories, thinking they speak for everyone yet having a hugely obvious bias.
