2) Craig David just performed Walking away and he sang "One" at the start, right till the "it leaves you baby if you don't care for it" part

It's so unreal it's getting ridicoulus. Come on, of all bands to lose to Limp bizkit and Blink 182...

REM and Depeche Mode had great performances.

It was in Frankfurt, but we'll not split hairs!

Incidentally, for our American friends, the whole bash was hosted by a comedian called Ali G, whose act is basically taking the piss out of white people who pretend to be black. He was funny, but was at his funniest towards the end. Blink 182 were supposed to finish the show, yet it became obvious they were having problems (ring a bell anyone?!) and he had to wing it for about six or seven minutes... then Blink 182 came on and two minutes into the song the guitar amp blew and the singer (don't know his name) ended the song by singing "how fucked is my guitar" over and over again before smashing it on the floor, breaking it in half, getting down on his knees and beating it.

Now that, my friends, is rock'n'roll!
