Original Of The Species is my favourite. It means a lot to me... sometimes it feels like he is singing that to me because it's so very true... I bet you feel the same way about some songs.

Anyway, I think that the closest to the perfect single is Beautiful Day.

it also helps that beautiful day has a great video to go along with it.

minus the ending...could definitely have done without the 7ets and the performance.

but everything prior to that, the sky shots, everything in the airports - brilliant. not sure why, exactly, but it's beautiful.

I'm so happy that he got his own show! For an English project, me and my group is doing a version of the Colbert Report. I'm supposed to be Stephen and all I can hope is that I'm half as funny as him.

Sounds like a fun project! Good luck with that.

edit: GRRR, how come I can't get these images to come up right on here!

Agree!

It's definitely Beautiful Day. Although.. Sweetest Thing, The Ground Beneath Her Feet and A Man And A Woman come close.

Mofo?

oh, nvm, wrong Pop

tie between The Sweetest Thing/Beautiful Day

And I thought this was going to be a POP thread.. :( I was so ready for it!

Beautiful day is the first to come to mind, but that might be just because it was such a radio hit..
But isn't that one way to define a pop-song as well?
