U2photos.com: finally done. (Tampa, Miami, new galleries and

The tour is ending for me, again. I've taken a week off here and
there for sanity reasons, but a great deal of my "free" time the last
two and a half months has been about scanning pictures. But now it's
done. The last two show sets, which I think came out very well:

*****

30 new photos from Tampa, Dec 1st:
http://www.U2photos.com/U2/elevation/tampa/

30 new photos from Miami, Dec 2nd:
http://www.U2photos.com/U2/elevation/miami/

I had photo passes both nights, so I've got some different angles
from the normal stuff.

*****

Larry drummed a song with Garbage in Miami, and I posted two photos of thst:
http://www.PerformancePhotography.co...ge01dec02.html

*****

Now that I'm done scanning, I've picked out some photos (35) from the
entire third leg for a new favorites page:
http://www.U2photos.com/U2/elevation...avorites2.html

If you don't have the time or energy to dig through 49 shows of
pictures but want to see these things, this is a good place to start.
(There's also a page of first leg favorites.)

*****

I've also added a total of 24 photos to the fans, signs and staging galleries:
http://www.U2photos.com/U2/elevation...and_stuff.html
http://www.U2photos.com/U2/elevation...ies/signs.html
http://www.U2photos.com/U2/elevation...ies/stage.html

*****

I have 955 PopMart photos posted, 1045 Elevation photos, and the two
of Larry with Garbage. That's 2002 U2 photos. No, I didn't plan
that. Much.

This was a year in planning, ticketing, driving, waiting, shooting,
developing, scanning, coding. I did it mostly to see if I could, and
because I love the music. Thanks everyone for all the encouragement
and help along the way. Now, to deal with a backlog of 1,200 pieces
of email.

enjoy...

Thank you so, so, so much. Now that the site is all done, it is such a wonderful testament to all that U2 have accomplished with the 2001 Elevation Tour.. Your photos of the band are phenomenal, and carry so much of what goes on in the performance. I personally really love lots of the photos of fans tpp, seeing all the people that U2 has brought together. And of course it is a testament to your wonderful skill and dedication.

Thank you so very much, and a hearty congratulations!

I'd just like to say how big a part of the whole tour your photogrpahs have been Mr Kitsinger.
I've looked through probably every pic over the whole past year of the tour and every one has been special.
I love photography so seeing these u2 pics were amazing.
I especially loved the fan and sign pics for some reason. Actually the fact that you had a pic of the flag i lost is one of the reasons i got a flag just like it from another wonderful fan.

Well U2 tour is over for now, but maybe I'll see you round Isaakland soon if there's a new tour

Thannks matey, you're what I'd call a great U2 adorer.
