THose European dates wouldnt work, football ( soccer season ) begins late august.

Im sure manchester could get more than 1 date in a much bigger venue than old T, dont forget size of pitch and behind stage .

New Yankee Stadium? Possibly. But I would prefer seeing them at Citi Field, Queens. If it's up by then. Cool, intimite and brand new. Capacity 45 000 (baseball), so how about... 8 shows?

I like that idea. It should be open by then since they won't tear down Shea Stadium until the new ballpark is ready. So U2 will have a place to play, whether it's the old park or the new one.
