Yeah, I'm such a Debbie Downer because I've learned to take a lot of Bono's comments with a grain of salt roughly the size of my head.

I'm just the worst.

All his comments tell us is that Bono is excited about what they've done in the studio the past three weeks. I think "that's nice" is a perfectly reasonable response.
