I didn't criticize his looks in that picture. I said I thought it was a bad picture, and I didn't like the glasses. I mean, HEL-LO!

i cannot believe anyone would critizise bono's choice of glasses. i mean, if he wore some really cool glasses that i would like to see, i would be happy of course. but i'm not gonna whine about it if he chooses to wear some tinted john lennon glasses that don't suit him at all.

Anyway, it was a decent performance I guess. The guitar seemed to be tuned in louder than the vocals for some reason. But it was a nice saturday evening surprise show.

So, back to the performance.

Statistics time!

This was only the third time Streets has been played outside of a full tour concert. The other two times were on the liquor store rooftop in LA during the Streets music video shoot in 1987 and U2's Super Bowl half-time show appearance in 2002.

So I'm really surprised by that choice. I was expecting Beautiful Day or One or some other standard fare.

He was actually controlling the entire performance. U2 have been replaced by robots.
