It was funny in that it featured the absurdity of constant complaining about any of U2's albums on a U2 fan forum, (hence the repetitiveness), and it got even more funnier when it upset exactly the people whose threads it poked fun at, who took it way to seriously.

Those are good points, especially that last one - I kept reading the thread just to see the people it was making fun of get really pissed off. Haha.
