That often??? I don't believe you :tsk:

OK, I was exaggerating. :reject:

I've actually listened to One Tree Hill a tenth of a time. Great tenth of a song!

That's actually part of Exit, Axver.

You know, now that I think about it, maybe it wasn't even U2 at all.

Oops, guess I just wasted four years on a messageboard for a band I've never heard!

If I were relying on iTunes it would probably be the fantastic Bad/40/WTSHNN live from Boston trilogy of the ES B-side (Hey !? Maybe that's the reason why I never listen to ES !?).

But as I have probably listen to most of the songs at a time when neither iTunes nor even mp3 existed, it doesn't mean much.

In more or less chronological order I would probably say:

- ISHFWIALF from R&H
- One
- Out of control
- Stay
- In a little while

According to my last.fm

Window In The Skies 72 plays
The Saints Are Coming 24 plays
Stuck 18 plays
In A Little While 18 plays
Last Night On Earth 17 plays
Like a Song... 12 plays
Street Mission 12 plays

they're the only U2 songs in my top 500

Well, Itunes cannot help me here, since it's a semi-recent thing in my life.

The answer, though, is A Sort of Homecoming, and since I've been listening to it since 1984, it's hard to say how many times. Has to be a 4 digit number, though.

 :hi5:
now those are the kind of numbers I was wondering about!!

My top 5 U2 appears to be:

1. 11 O'Clock Tick Tock (Live from Red Rocks)
2. Please (Live from Rotterdam)
3. The Fly (Live from Sao Paulo)
4. Until the End of the World (Live from Dublin)
5. Bullet the Blue Sky (Live from Dublin)

11 O'Clock Tick Tock and Please also crack my overall top 5, with Backstreets (Live from Hammersmith Odeon), This Fffffire, and Feelin' Stronger Everyday.

Ooh tough to answer but I'm going to say "New Year's Day," is probably my most played U2 song. I've heard it at least once a week, (4 radio stations in my area play this song quite a bit), for the past 7 years at least. 52 times 7=364, at the least. Not including the times I've heard it live in person, on concert videos, youtube bootleg videos.

And yet, I'm still not sick of hearing it.

October and War are my most played U2 albums.

With Or Without You - I'm only guessing would have to be in the range of about 300 to 500 . album and live .

Ney Year's Day - about the same 300 to 500 . mostly live .

I Will Follow - about 300 album and live .

Stateless - about 300 .

So Cruel -also 300 + ? .

Don't blast me, people, but I don't know Stateless. U2trinity, I'll search for it, any suggestions. (I don't have War:ohmy: if it's on there). Or is it unreleased?
And u2trinity, have you VIEWED WOWY as much as you've listened to it:drool: :sexywink:

well Stateless isn't on a U2 album it's on "The Million Dollar Hotel " soundtrack but it's dark and beautiful kinda like So Cruel .

Post your email blm , I'll send it to you .

The most heard since '84 are probably:
1. Pride (Studio version)
2. With Or Without You (Studio version)
3. One (Studio version)
4. A Sort Of Homecoming (Wide Awake version)
5. Sunday Bloody Sunday (R & H version)
6. One Tree Hill (X-mas at the Point Depot)
7. Where The Streets Have No Name (R & H version)
8. Mysterious Ways (Perfecto Mix)
9. I Still Haven't Found ... (Studio version)
10. Gloria (Under A Blood Red Sky)

with or without you-live in san diego 2005 (vertigo tour)=67 times

reason my play count is so low, is i play lots of things more than just u2 on my ipod so you know its not going to be u2 all the time

must say it is one of my favourite versions of with or without you.

It would probably be ISHFWILF, Kite or One that I've been listening to most.. but I don't know how many times.
