Wouldn't that amount to "pandering"?

Ya know, they'd work on songs that get the best reaction, probably the most "U2" sounding tunes.

Then the wild and wacky experimental tunes all the shit-heads here pine for would get the old "heave ho."
it's funny cause it's true

or not funny cause it's true

but it's true either way

and that Antwerp "We love you" thing was quite horrendous no matter how you look at it

We'd just get the complaints out sooner than usual.

Yep...but they would be NEW complaints about different songs. I'd like to see not just new material in the set lists, but fresh bitch fest material as well.

A fan forum bitch fest is only as fresh and relevant as the band it obsessively bitches about:wink:

Almost every set of U2 songs would have benefited from a a year of playing them every night and figuring out all the nooks and crannies. Great concept, but unfortunately they would never give it a shot.

I agree. For that reason alone the "world's greatest live act" would be a better fit for a different band.

I'm assuming you're talking about Joanna Newson?

Oh no, wait that's "worst live act out there right now". Doh!

 Yeah, I'm sure people who saw the band perform a song live that ended up being a great track on a later album would feel ripped off.

Definitely. Just look at this forum.
