Just a tip for those who can watch BBC2

There is wonderful show running called seven ages of rock and tomorrow...

16 June 2007,
We Are The Champions (Stadium Rock) 1965-1993
We Are The Champions follows the development of some the biggest names in Rock, among them Queen, Bruce Springsteen, The Police and Dire Straits and shows how, through events such as Live Aid and the rise of MTV, rock achieved a global influence on culture and politics. The film concludes in the early 90s, as U2 effectively brought the era to a close by reinventing the big rock show so completely, that fifteen years later most major rock tours are still pale facsimiles.

Had noticed this and was gonna post it on the forum last night, but it was closed for maintenance. Its true what it says about ZOO tv, it has yet to be surpassed for the experience it was. POPMART was spectacular, but had nothing of the intensity and overload of the ZOO

I agree gman. It was hard to surpass the surprise and departure ZOOTV brought to live shows and to U2 itself. Bands found that out......including U2 with PoP

I noticed on this program when they were talking about U2 and Zoo TV they showed more footage than what ive seen before of the satelite link up with Sarajevo from Wembley Stadium.
