Somewhere I red that around 1980, the boys had nicknames for each others... (no, not Edge or Bono)

they were weird, specially Bono's...

which were those nicknames?

I specially need Larry's

Something tells me that Larry NEVER had a nickname. But I could be wrong. I think Adam was known as Sparky at some point. Do you have the books Bono in Conversation, the Unforgettable Fire and one of the Bill Graham books. I think the full list of nicknames can be found in them. (I'm not at home right now to go through my extensive library of U2 related books, otherwise I'd help ya out.

wasnt larry 'jam jar?'..i swear i read that somewhere.

Bono's nickname was orginanally Steinhegvanhuysenolegbangbangbangbang (thank you Ongoing History Of New Music), and then BonoVox of O'Connell Street. But that's a mouthful to say all the time...

Edge's nickname was originally to be Inchicore, which is a district of Dublin. :)
