U2 love songs

Has anyone noticed that most (if not all) U2 songs about love are bittersweet? Aren't there any happy love songs?

It's more interesting that way. The only really happy song U2 wrote is Beautiful Day, which was a curve ball when I first heard it.

I prefer their love songs to all that saccharine nonsense, because I find Bono's portrayal of love more honest.
