...and YOU get to choose the Benefit and 6-7 opening/festival/ b-stage acts.

Be realistic - consider the audience. Oh yeah, and you also get to choose the venue near you they'll be playing!

My picks

Date: Aug 5 (my birthday) 2004
Venue: The Gorge Amphitheater in George, WA

GorgeView.jpg

Benefit: Young Life www.younglife.com

Headliner: U2
Opening Act: Sting
Festival Acts:
DMB
Coldplay
Chris Isaak
Van Morrison
B-Stage:
Jimmy Eat World

So funny that you chose Jimmy Eat World for the B stage because I think they'd be so great opening for U2.

I'd like U2 to play a smaller, less structured benefit with an ever-changing line-up and a total thrown together jam quality. Maybe like the Universal Ampitheater (dream of dreams to see U2 there anyway), like the type of benefit that is brought together for someone who's sick or passed away and all the performers have the option of playing one song or 10.

My lineup would be only three bands (in this order).....
Coldplay
Oasis
U2

I'd love to see them at Wembley Stadium, with me in the front row of course

Damn....I'm dreaming of them doing a secret appearance at V2003 but ive more chance of turning into a giant lemon than that happening!

ANYWAY...it would be in HYDE PARK...and

U2

Sting
Coldplay
Dave Matthews Band
Radiohead
Tori Amos
REM

That would be AMAZING!!!
