I was wondering if anyone knew when people first started to cover the walls of Windmill Lane Studios with U2 Graffiti?

I know there was not a drop of Graffiti on the walls at Windmill Lane in the summer of 1984 as seen in the Unforgettable Fire Documentary video. I have a picture of Windmill Lane from June 1992 showing the studio covered in U2 Graffiti.

So the whole U2 Graffiti thing at the studio started sometime between August 1984 and June 1992. I'm thinking it may not have started until 1987 with the Joshua Tree or a little after that, but I'm not sure.

Come on now, is there anyone here that visited Windmill Lane studio's in the late 1980s?

Alright, are there any fans that took a trip to Ireland in the late 1980s and visited some U2 sites in Dublin, including Windmill Lane?
