U2 and TIVO - aka: what to record

:hmm: it would cost me about $18 a month to subscribe to my cable company just to get the box to pick up MTV2. Of course that would include several music channels.:dance:
Just don't know, don't really want that much more tv. However It'd be worth it for alot of U2... but other wise, I have no interest in MTV or 2..

CSPAN 3 will be broadcasting the Clinton Library inauguration on Thursday 11/18.

Bono & Edge will be performing live.

Right now CSPAN 3 has it for 12PM ET live.

I really think they'll replay it later in the day also, like they do most events.

Msnbc said they are having live coverage of the Clinton Library thingie starting at 11am est.

the way u2 fans luck as been running with this one it will turn out to be making the video - Brittney Spears Greatest Hits:mad: but will i be up at 12:30 - yes I will

My Tivo did pick up that making of the video, so we shall see.

Also, was at the gym today and at the end of TRL they announced that U2 would have a surprise on the Monday show! :ohmy:
 
I happened to turn on MTV2 at 8:45 p.m. CST and U2 Makes a Video was on! I only caught the last 15 minutes, but it's great to know this actually became a reality. I checked MTV2's schedule online, but it isn't being repeated. Of course, the online schedule only goes to Nov. 25 or something like that.

BBC 2 will be showing a Band Aid special tonight to celebrate the 20th birthday of Do They Know It's Christmas. It's on at 22.00 British time (so that's 23.00 for people like me who are in the Netherlands).
 
I don't know if anyone gets TRIO (Pop culture TV). It's one of those independent arts channels. Tonight they are playing U2: Making of Video Vertigo at 6:30pm, U2 Best of 1990-2000 @ 7:00pm and then U2 Live at Slane Castle at 7:30pm (only half an hour so I'm not sure what they are showing). All times EST (here in Florida).
 
TRIO is also showing Elevation Boston tomorrow night 8pm Eastern Time, I assume the same as the DVD but who knows?

FYI From Trio's website. I have until JANUARY to switch my cable and get Trio again... good thing I'm moving this week, a perfect opportunity!

This just in... was watching that oracle of all things entertainment last night (Access Hollywood) and they made mention of a "U2 Special" to air December 10th on MTV. I *believe* it has to do with the video being shot on Mon.
The MTV website doesn't have a schedule listed past Nov 30th, but let's keep an eye on this one:eyebrow:
 
It's gonna be the Brooklyn Bridge show from Monday...not sure what else though.
