TV TOTAL cobl vocals

on the german show TV TOTAL the other day during COBL's if you listen at 3:30 exactly you hear the clearest evidence that the 'oooooh,oooooh, ooooooh' part is a backing track. you can actually hear bono's voice at that second (3:30) and it's not singing that high. i don't have a problem with this at all. (ps: edge's mic isn't even loud enough to be doing this either) i realize there are lots of backing tracks used in u2's music, and i'm not trying to start another pointless argument. i just wanted to present this as evidence for a dispute thread i saw a couple days ago about this.
 
I bet you are confused. Because whils I used to think the 'Ooooh Oooooooooohs' where all high sounds, the first 'Ohhh' is infact quite low. Bono steps up to the higher sound. It sounds strange, I don't know why he does it (in every version, live, studio etc..) but it is him doing it.
