I don't understand. Do you think U2 use guys under the stage playing guitar and keyboards or what? imo, they don't. can I prove it? no. but the aural evidence suggests they have not done this until the elevation tour. the reason I say that is if you look at the boston dvd and watch walk on you'll see that bono is pretending to play the riff, but he's not. edge is playing the chords. so they're either playing to a cd or someone is backstage playing it. why they would do that specifically on that show when I've seen edge play that riff a hundred times elsewhere I don't know. also, at the brooklyn concert, obviously there were 2 guitars going during ABOY. again, I think they were playing to a cd. can I prove it? no. but a cd won't make mistakes; humans will. why take a chance putting someone on the spot that's not even onstage when you can just have the cd playing back what you already played?
