And you know what? I've been listening to Mercy nonstop for two hours and the more I listen the more it feels like it should be on the list, but I'll resist the temptation for now. Too easily does the fresh material entice and seduce. That's why the initial joy of listening to HTDAAB has settled a bit after dozens of listens and the real gems rise to the surface and the duds (One Step Closer) drop away.. And damn why oh why didnt they include a tighter version of Mercy in the album!!? (Yeah, I know, another thread, but I'm just sayin'.

I find that everyone seems to love LAPOE, but it wouldn't be on my all time best songs list.

But Miracle Drug and COBL are terrific songs... though I haven't decided how good. Have to wait a few months I think...
