No kidding! I didn't hate the version with all the stars as much as some people here, but this version with ONLY U2 is about 100000x better! I hope U2 records their version and release it on the CD single!

OH MY GOD I really didn't like the version with all the artists put together, but this live U2 version is untouchable... when Bono and Edge started alternating singing, I thought I'd fall out of my chair. The whole repeated guitar thing at the beginning was awesome too.
I'm glad they're doing New York.

agreed, i was initially put of by performing it during a show, but it turned out so well, and really fit in, so i guess i had a change of heart.

I think Edge did an excellent job on guitar in What's going on? I hope when Bono's version comes out it will have him on guitar.

I haven't heard any version yet, but I sure love Marvin Gaye. I'm glad they are doing one of his songs. He was so smooth IMHO
