This is kinda weird: Yahoo & U2

Today I got an e-mail from a friend who uses the free Yahoo e-mail. Usually there's some ad at the bottom like "Do you Yahoo? Try Yahoo auctions.." But today it said this:

Do you Yahoo!?
U2 on LAUNCH - Exclusive greatest hits videos
http://launch.yahoo.com/u2

I did a double-take. U2 ads in my non-U2 e-mails? Am I going crazy...

The link has a few 90's era U2 videos and it looks like the "History Mix" from the double CD/DVD set.

I guess they're pushing the hell out of this one.

U2 is everywhere, and it's a very good thing.

The in your face marketing of The Best Of release has been just under the Intensity of "Titanic". I'd love to see Bono as a villian in a Bond movie.

I noticed this when I was on yahoo.com yesterday. They are hosting quite a few full lenght videos. I checked out Mysterious Ways, which I had never seen before, and Discoteque, which I hadn't seen since 1997. They were pretty cool.
