Oooh, this is tough.
1. Bad - the perfection of minimalism. My second favourite song ever.
2. The Unforgettable Fire - a beautiful landscape painted with music. My third favourite song ever.
3. A Sort Of Homecoming - if it weren't for Streets, this would be the best album opener ever. Stunningly beautiful.
4. Promenade - this song has such wonderful subtle beauty, it's amazing.
5. Pride (In The Name Of Love) - anthemic rock at its best.
6. Wire - maybe U2's bleakest track. Haunting, dark, and excellent.
7. Indian Summer Sky - grossly under-rated brilliant song with some great lyrics that help to provoke and conjure mental images.
8. MLK - a tender and soft closer.
9. Elvis Presley And America - this really does show off Bono's great improvisational abilities. Another horrifically under-rated song.
10. 4th Of July - atmosphere, atmosphere, atmosphere. I hate to put this song so low, but it's naked without Promenade and Bad.
