Leaving the above FMJ/Native son Bono hype aside, which would you consider their best rock song?

For me it's a tie between Desire and Bullet the blue sky.

Oh, damn, I think I'm going to have to go with a four-way tie: God Part II, The Fly, Acrobat, and Gone.

The Electric Co. and Wire are both really close behind too.

If we're going by live versions, I may just give the title to 11 O'clock Tick Tock, and Exit and ZooTV Bullet and Dirty Day seriously come into contention.

U2's made some great rockers.

Honourable mentions for me Exit, God part II and All because of you.

Top 5:

Zoo Station
Elevation (live)
Electric Co
Even Better Than The Real Thing
Vertigo

Silver and gold
Exit
Bullet the blue sky
Electric co
Desire

just to name a few

This should have been released instead of U218:

"U2 F***ING OWNS YOUR SOUL!!! (Best of U2's face-melting rockers)"

1. I Will Follow
2. Electric Co.
3. Gloria (you must include this; it has a bass solo for goodness' sakes!)
4. Sunday Bloody Sunday
5. Wire
6. Bullet (live)
7. Desire
8. God Part II
9. Zoo Station
10. EBTTRT
11. The Fly
12. Dirty Day (live)
13. Discotheque
14. Last Night On Earth
15. Gone
16. Elevation (live)
17. Vertigo
18. All Because Of You

Any of these can be replaced with HMTMKMKM.

I'd say it's The Fly. The most balls-to-the-wall rock song they're ever recorded.

Bullet the Blue Sky is a close, CLOSE second though....easily.

The Fly  amazing Edgy solo :combust:

Bullet, Zoo Station and Exit also

Electric co. is another amazing Edge kick ass live one!!!!!
