I adore this song, too. It's so dark and beautiful. It speaks of longing and an obsessive love.

I'm glad someone else mentioned it! Definitely worthy of an appreciation thread.

(and I also tried to read the book of the same name--alas, I just couldn't get into it at all.)

IMO, The Ground Beneath Her Feet is definately one of the better songs on ATYCLB.

Good stuff.

The best part of this song IMO is about the 2:30 mark where it goes heavy.
