I think it's not a unique misbehaviour by the BBC, but by all those radio channels.
They lack all appropriateness

No but you should be able to listen to the show again by clicking on the listen again link on the webpage and then select 6 music plays it again.
He made some interesting comments which I hadn't heard before although it must have been recorded a while ago as he was talking about going to play OTH at Auckland.
On the following programme they also played a few JT tracks from one of the 1989 Dublin Point shows
