Dedicated to all the Boom Cha lovers out there...

A long long time ago
I can still remember how those boom chas used to make me
smile
And if Bono wore his bubble pants
That U2 could do that boom cha dance
And maybe they'd be happy for a while

Did you see the disco love
And did u see bono give a shove
the Flanagan Bible tells you so
Do you believe in rock 'n roll
Can music save your boom cha soul
We don?t want to dance no dosey doooo

Well we want to keep our boom cha spins
Cause we love to see Larrys forced grin
Adam looks like he'd rather snooze
Man, we dig those Boom Cha wooos

Edge is a leather wearing man of lust
Bonos now famous for those pelvis thrusts
But we knew it had all gone bust
The day the Boom Cha?s died

We started singin'..
Bye-bye, Our Boom Chas
Goodbye

Edge was ready for a medley
but his pants were too tight
and them good ole boys wanted the boom chas to fry
singin this will be the day that they die

This'll be the day Boom Chas die

Then Bono put on his Policeman blues
And we asked him for some happy news
But he just thrusted and boom chaed away
We went down to Larry?s cowboy store
Where we?d heard the boom chas years before
But Larry told us FOAD while he tended his hayyyy

And in the streets the fans all screamed
The lovers cried, and the poets dreamed
But not a boom cha was croakin
The disco balls all were broken

And the four men we admire most
Tis Bono, Edge, Laz, but Adams toast
They put Discotheque in the post
The day the boom chas died

We started singin'..
Bye-bye, Our Boom Chas
Goodbye

Edge was ready for a medley
but his pants were too tight
and them good ole boys wanted the boom chas to fry
singin this will be the day that they die

This'll be the day Boom Chas die

salomey, it rhymed ok? :p

Ohhhh you mean this is supposed to go with the "American pie" tune? I thought it was meant to go along with Discotheque tune till i got to the chorus part which didn't fit in :lmao:

Nope, i don't miss the boom cha's.

:eyebrow: :eeklaugh:   :lmao:

*Manages to speak*

Okay...that was possibly one of the funniest parodies I've ever seen!

My favorite part:

We went down to Larry?s cowboy store
Where we?d heard the boom chas years before
But Larry told us FOAD while he tended his hayyyy

Just the thought of Larry in his cowboy outfit saying "FOAD"...

*Dissolves into giggles again*

Genius?

While I do find your post rather amusing, and many find it pure genius, I think there is more genius on U2's part to take out the boom-cha's. As great as you are, I find U2 more of a genius than you. No offense meant, even with the boom-chas, discotheque was great to begin with. U2 just found a way to improve it. U2 improving themselves - nothing else is new.

Cheers,

I didnt know this was a genius contest.

I believe there is another thread to discuss your dislike for the boomchas. Why dont you go there and ruin that thread instead.
