I've read a few threads recently that say "<songnamehere> should have been put on the album! Why not?!"
So, why not write your alternative tracklisting for whatever album you felt U2 fell short on.
Rules: NONE. Any album, add/remove any tracks!
GO...! NOW.
I'll start with 'The Unforgettable Fire'.
Here's a cover I used when including this expanded album in a self made boxset. If I can find the box, I'll show you, opted for proper boxes rather than plastic jewel cases.
I included every B-side simply because I personally feel they all match the standard of the whole album and leaving some tracks off or not even using them on a later album was just a WASTE! Epsecially 'The Three Sunrises', 'Love Comes Tumbling' and 'Bass Trap'.
Disc One-
1. The Three Sunrises
2. Pride
3. Boomerang I
4. Wire
5. Boomerang II
6. 4th of July
7. Love Comes Tumbling
8. Elvis Presley and America
Disc Two-
1. A Sort of Homecoming
2. Indian Summer Sky
3. Sixty Seconds in Kingdom Come
4. Promenade
5. The Unforgettable
6. Bass Trap
7. Bad
8. MLK
I was pleased with this list since I feel the tracks all flow well and you get a more 'rocky' disc followed by some some tracks in the same vein but slotted between a lot more 'mellow' tracks.
Okay, I don't expect much of this thread since it will probably be ignored for whatever reason, but if we could get a lot of you joining in that would be great!
