The Survivor game for the How to Dismantle an Atomic Bomb is now finished. Thank you to all who participated.

Results of Survivor are below. I have also included the results of two postively run polls for comparision.

Survivor was run by Dave C, discothequeLP, and moi as a negative poll ie voting off the least preferred song from the selection available. Except for the final round when the voting was in the positive.

This poll commenced on the 1st December 2004 and finished 7th January 2005.

Please note Fast Cars was not included initially in Survivor.

Two great songs made it to the end. I was really pulling for COBL, and it almost won.

Good stuff, I think the best song won in the end and COBL is a worthy second. My l'il OOTS got 4th and that's not too shabby at all.

Yes, this truely was one of the most exciting Survivors i've ever participated in online. Good work to everyone involved in it! It got quite a turnout every round...especially the final two!

The only complain I have is that Fast Cars should have either been on the poll since the beginning or not have been on it at all. I don't think it should have been there at all cause it's not on all copies of HTDAAB around the world.

But how do you decide which version to use? In a previous round The Ground Beneath Her Feet was ommitted from Survivor because it wasnt on the USA version. This irks some, ie me, people who have the other version. Do we go with the Irish version because thats where U2 are from? Or with the USA version because theres a lot of USA fans on this web site?

I personally prefer to include everything and let the voters duke it out
