WTF are the boys doing at Parliament House? And by the way, mine are serious sets in a sense. They come from Axver's Ultimate U2 Tour. It began on my 18th birthday (a Monday, Out Of Controo-hoool!), 17 January 2005, and didn't get out of New Zealand until 30 November 2005. I've just finished the Pacific Islands leg (3 January 2006) and I'm deviating to tour certain localities for my girlfriend's 18th (also a Monday, Out Of Controo-hooool!) before heading to Africa. I've done 225 shows and counting, each with what I sincerely hope is a unique setlist. It's a challenge, I can tell you that much.

The next Survivor needs to be a competition that won't be so predictable.
well, i was thinking of doing a worst song survivor and that should be a lot less predictable than i thought it was. when we had a thread like that a while back, i thought everyone would rally around red light, but there were actually some people defending it. plus, not everyone was naming it. there were only like two people who said it. :eyebrow:

Not in the slightest. And working on another now, for my second of two concerts in French Polynesia. Yes, I have a tour running here.
and i thought i was bad: http://forum.interference.com/showthread.php?s=&postid=2330534#post2330534

axver, could please make a setlist for me? they'll come to memphis on your tour, won't they? :( i'm sure it's the closest they'll ever come to playing here again. (p.s. if you could include ebttrt, exclude everything off atyclb, exclude any acoustic songs, and have them close with 40 i think i'd explode.)

For a while, I've been thinking the idea of a worst song survivor would be really good. Do you want to run it? I'm going to really miss doing this. It's been frustrating a few times but usually stacks of fun.

They've come NEAR Memphis already! Know where Franklin is? The sixth leg of the tour was a nine day tour of the town on the way from the Pacific Islands to Africa. When I FINALLY come back to the US, I'll be hitting more totally random towns - forget the major centres, U2 will play long stands in the middle of nowhere! And they can also come to Memphis for you!

Tour thus far:
Leg 1: Raumati Beach Tour / Nearby Dates - 17 January to 4 March 2005
Leg 2: South Island Tour - 5 March to 15 May 2005
Leg 3: North Island Tour - 21 May to 11 November 2005
Leg 4: Kapiti Coast Tour - 17 November to 30 November 2005
Leg 5: Pacific Islands Tour - 7 December 2005 to 3 January 2006
Leg 6: Franklin Tour - 9 January to 17 January 2006
I have now just begun Leg 7: African Continent Tour, beginning on 31 January 2006.

I am officially insane.

2005-10-12 - Hamilton, New Zealand - Waikato Stadium

That's not to mention the shows in nearby towns too.

Liam, are you sure that's a ZooTV era show, or an early U2 show trying to disguise itself as ZooTV?

Here's the final Treasure set! I'll have to throw Treasure into an African set soon ...

Damn straight.

I really shouldn't be admitting this even on a U2 forum. I look nutty even compared to other fans.

But damnit, it's fun.

yeah sure, unless you want to run it. like i said, i already made up a list of songs i think qualify to be included so then it'll just be time consuming to make a thread every day, or every other day. but hey, i have no life!

yeah, franklin's a suburb of nashville, about three hours away from here. that's too far away.

although there is white castle in nashville  white castle

EDIT: i have even picked out the venue for them. they should play the orpheum. they could sell out the fedexforum (yes that is all one word) but i fucking hate that place and everything it stands for. the orpheum is pretty and i would make the guest list.
