I was just wondering if anyone might know, since I lost my War cd long ago, if this song begins exactly the way it generally does in concert, or if on the album the first drum beat or so are cut off and the song sort of "cuts in" abruptly at the beginning. I ask because I was under the impression that the copies I obtained through itunes and The Complete U2 were errant because the beginning beat or two sounded cut-off, but the customer service people say nothing is wrong with the track, so maybe it's supposed to be that way. Can anyone who actually knows clarify this for me? Thanks.

I think I know what you mean. It does sound cut off on the original version on the CD and vinyl so your track might be okay.
