Stuck in a moment question

There are 2 versions of it and 2 videos of it.
Album version has after first verse a bridge("Never tought you're a fool, but darling look at you...").
Acoustic version(from U2 7) doesn't have it, after the verse it goes into the chorus, but after 2nd verse it appears.
Khan version of video(Bono lying on the streets, after beeing thrown from a van) has the bridge.
Godley version(superbowl) doesn't have the bridge, but also appears after 2nd verse.

Can somebody tell me why is that?
What is so special about that bridge, that is has to be somewhere and elswhere it doesn't have to be?
 
Were the singles different? The stupid football video was made for the USA market and the Van version was made for the rest of the world.

I have no idea why though, sorry.
