it may come across as corny, but given bono's interest in all things spiritual, i bet the band could put together an amazing, updated "let it be."

yeah that one too. i think they can do good covers of beatles classics. esp the one from the let it be album.
how bout 'let's give peace a chance' or the goofy twist and shout! and another mcartney classic where he gets to use a rspy shouting vocals.. i forgot the title though.

I'd love them to cover 'One of Us' by Joan Osborne, not because i'm religious, but just because I think it's a beautiful song anyway, and that it would sound even more beautiful if U2 covered it semi-acoustic.
