Historically, any song that doesn't get played for 2 tours is history.

Not true, proven by (last but not least) Elevation. Some of the songs that were featured weren't played on either Zoo TV or Popmart (which both, IMO, were a lot more "greatest hits" tours).

If it's true Two hearts beat as one and Unforgettable fire were rehearsed on the last tour, it could mean they weren't satisfied with them and won't play them again.
